Addin at 14 Months

Hi All! Another month of me growing up and Alhamdulillah, Mama said I'm progressing well! :D I am such a curious baby and am always keen to watch, observe what others are doing and then try and copy what they do. Like this microphone, I kept seeing Kakak singing into it so what else do I do once I get hold of it? Though I have to say Kakak's singing is much better than me!

Just like my siblings, I also have this signature frown and serious expression, especially when I just wake up or when I meet new faces. But Mama said that out of us three, I AM the least serious of us all because even though I have this serious expression, the next minute I can easily smile and laugh once someone talks or jokes with me!

As you know, I started walking at 11 months so I guess you can say I'm pretty stable now and thus I'm more confident running as fast as I can-which still leads me to have my bumps and bruises on my poor lil head! It's also quite a nitemare taking me out in public now because I'm not so keen on the stroller anymore and instead I just want to walk around and explore everything! I am however still very compliant with the car seat and even though I've had in the past my crying bouts wanting to get out, I soon realised that brought no effect from the big people so I gave up complaining and learnt to entertain myself by reading books instead!

My fine motor skills is really good now and I can pick up the teeniest things from the floor - I just have to be watched over so that I don't put that teeny thing in my mouth! The other day, Mama prepared this game for us where we had to look for tiddlywinks in a bowl of salt and I found all THREE of them in MY bowl! Well Done ME! Look at how pleased I am when finding the first one! (Of course I kinda cheated when I poured all the salt on the floor first before starting my search!)
Other random updates of me:

• I can shake my head to say no-this I especially do when someone wants to carry me away from Mama;
• I hold my bottle myself but there are still times when I'm lazy to do it! And on that note, I've weaned off Mama and I'm only drinking one 6oz bottle of formula at night;
• I like to give people a High FIVE;
• I'm not scared to stroke our pet rabbits Oreo and Snow White (which we haven't blogged about I just realised) when initially I was terrified of being near them;
• I'm can make bababoo, nananni, tati, dadi sounds;
• I say "MAMA" everytime I'm crying;
• I wave bye2 more these days and if you're lucky you get a flying kiss too!;
• I get a bit startled and stare back hard when Mama gets upset with something I did;
• I don't give in anymore when Abang and Kakak wants something I have;
• I can point to the light and the fan (and with my index finger) when asked to;
