Grocery Shopping

I love how Hua Ho Supermarket in Manggis has these mini trolleys for us kids! Usually I'd get kinda bored following mama around and her trolley but now I can do my own shopping at the same time! U wanna know what was in my trolley? I had my packs of orange juice, my favourite fruits bananas and oranges and 2 packs of chocolate milk!

As soon as I saw abang with his trolley, I screamed for my own!! I loved it so much that I didn't wanna let it go even when it was paying time!

Just Can't Get Enough!

I've told you before how much I love to eat right? Well now that I've turned one and my food choices have increased, I am simply having the time of my life!

Antics at Muara Beach!

We haven't been to Muara Beach for a long time so I don't know since when has this great playground been around but we are soooo ecstatic to have discovered it now! Babah and mama should expect us to tagih coming to this like every weekend from now on! It had like almost everything on it and Alisha and I had to be dragged out of there when told to leave!

Sigh I love love love playgrounds! And this one was soo new and ultra colourful! Siuk eh!

We went back to our family picnic spot and I started to pretend I was catching a butterfly with this stick which was supposed to be a butterfuly net. But since there wasn't any butterflies around, I started to chase after and poke Kaka Zaty's butterfly KITE instead! Haha!!

Can you see my upset look when I discovered that abang and kakak left me to go to the playground?? Thankfully they remembered me and came back! I am so inda mau rugi ok- I HAVE to do everything they do, unless I choose not to of course.. hehe..

And speaking of inda mau rugi, I also practically ate and drank everything in sight! I ate a whole bowl of rice and chicken soup made my nenek girl, a whole cup of fresh coconut juice AND this bowl of yam and sweet potato porridge also made by nenek girl! Deelissshhh!!!

Hurry up and scoop me some more!!!!

After having enough to eat, I burnt the calories off with a little ball kicking and chasing.. Everybody was so thrilled to see me walking and kicking away! They got especially excited when I even tried to carry the ball WHILE walking and said how amibitious I am considering how small I am! Pengiski baby that's me!!

Family Fun Sunday

We had an early start yesterday as we had an RBAF Family Funday function to attend to in Serasa Beach and we had to be there by 730! Of course that wasn't quite possible with trying to wake the 3 of us up along with getting us ready so the best we got was getting there at 8!

As soon as I arrived I caught my eye on this train so I insisted we go on it so babah and mama had to skip breakfast for us to go on it. You know me! If I want something there and then, it's hard for anyone to say no to me! This cute train was built by soldiers and it's almost 20 years old! Of course the ride was very bumpy and slow but we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of Serasa Beach and waved to all the other picnickers about!

Look at how happy I was going on the train! I truly am so sakai when being brought anywhere these days that I gotta work on my "cool" look just like abang!

After the train ride, we discovered that they also had pony rides on offer so of course Abang jumped at the chance to ride one! I was only hangat2 tahi ayam to go because as soon as babah paid and about to place me on the pony, I cried! Mama was not surprised since she was scared of ponies when she was younger too!

I was asleep most of the time that morning, well at least tried to as much as possible with the scorching heat and the noisy crowds. Luckily, mama and me could rest and stayed out of the sun in the air conditioned rest house-yay! Though mama and I sadly missed abang and kakak playing all the different games on offer outside, we were quickly comforted with the cold air blowing in our face from the gigantic standing air condition in the room! hehe .. how spoilt are we? We were allowed to leave early since the Guest of Honour left already so after abang and kakak finished playing almost all of the games (including the wet bouncer!) and after a quick snack, we left and moved on to nearby Muara beach cos nenek girl invited us for a family picnic there! The fun never stops! This is me and nenek girl enjoying the sea breeze whilst waiting for babah to park the car.

Auntie Nor and family came so I watched my cousins fly their beautiful kite and it was soo fun! Kakak Zaty and Abang Qawee were especially good with it. Too bad there wasn't much wind so we can fly it all the time!

The Wackadoo Zoo Concert

My Year and Year 2 jointly performed a 25 minute musical last Wednesday night singing and dancing through the amusing story of the Wackadoo Zoo. My class played the goats who stubbornly made the sound "Gruff Gruff" even though the Professor kept teaching us to say "Neigh Neigh"! I made the loudest laugh when the Professor started getting annoyed with us because we didn't do what he told us to do! Mr. Holmes who played the Professor was so funny!

This is me and Fadhil together after the show- everybody kept telling us, especially Fadhil, of what a godd job we did! We didn't even realise cause we were just having fun! Actually, I personally got bored within 15 minutes of the performance that I started looking at my wrist pretending there is a watch on it!

Hewwooo babah? Babah where are you? Are you not supposed to be on holiday from work?.. then why are you still always OUT? grrrr....

Alisha update

Hi all! I know I haven't updated about myself in a really long time- what can I say? Time flies when you're having fun right? And seriously, that's all I've been doing! What else can you do when you're 2 apart from driving your mama crazy with your terrible twos stuff? hehe

I am soo very very active that lately I've only been able to have my naps as late as 5 o clock cos I'm just so hyper awake for the whole day that I only get conked out in the evening. And of course, because I have my naps so late, I only go to bed at around after 10!! I know babah and mama have been really bising about this cos it means that they have to layan me till that late! But what can I do?? I just don't want to go to sleep!!

Active me in action!!

I am also very curious in a lot of things and is constantly asking question after question with this most adorable inquisitive expression:

I just love to join abang when he has sessions with Jo in the study room or when mama goes through some work with him and I learn so much from it too.. Now I can even start answering "why" questions by beginning with "be-kos" and then say whatever comes to mind! Sometimes I tend to stir some trouble by insisting that I get all the attention despite me knowing that the session is more for abang and not me.. and I also still love to have whatever thing abang is having right at that moment so we always end up wasting time by fighting over the same thing.. sigh.. I know mama thinks that I'm just doing it to get abang in trouble because as soon as abang gets upset with me for taking away his thing, I make the most pitiful cry ever! But sometimes mama, I reaalllllyy do want to have that thing that abang has simply because I just want to follow everything abang does.

Funnily enough, I don't mind so much when Addin takes things away from me.. So maybe it IS just a case of liking to wind up my big brother! But NOT my sweeett innocent baby brother.. no siree!!

ooh I also had a haircut last Tuesday with Aunty Katty-Yay, She's my FAVOURITE! I used to cry when mama brought me to other hairdressers. But NOT Aunty Katty, cos I know she's reaaallyy good and she'll make my hair look good so I actually stayed STILL for FORTY minutes while she was cutting my hair into this layered bob! (I think the reason it took that long was because she was training others at the same time. Hmm, if that's the case mama should have argued that my haircut should have been free..)

Extremely happy with the results!

My dry skin and excema is still quite bad and I've been asking mama to "see dakter" about it. It's getting quite bad and itchy that I insist on wearing pants all the time. Of course, mama gets sad cos she bought me so many dresses lately so as a compromise, I wear both the dress and the pants! Hey, I think I can still carry it off!

Some other lil tidbits about me:

1. I love to pinch other people's clothes to soothe me. When mama was away, I sat in front of the cupboard and spent some time pinching her clothes...

2. I love to carry my baby emma doll everywhere and especially to go to sleep. And I always warn abang beforehand "Abang you have your baby lion, you don't touch my baby emma ok? no,no, no (with the finger gesture of course)"
3. I always insist abang hold my hand when we're walking down the house together

4. I still get terrified with new faces and will just hold on to mama like for dear life and of course I will never utter a word when I'm around people I'm not familiar with. Then when I'm in familiar surroundings again, I can't shut up!

5. I can count all the way til 10 but now I'm working on actually counting things! Like even when there are only 5 items, I still carry on til 10! hehe

6. I still eat like a bird during meals but I practically snack throughout the day.. I love snacking on fruits, raisins, cheese and bread and peanut butter..

7. I'm 90% fully potty trained though I still get the odd "leak" once in a while and I still wear my pull ups when I'm out and when I'm asleep..

8. I insist on choosing what I want to wear every day...

9. I STILL love my Elmo and Barney, but I'm beginning to really get into the Hi-5 vcds and reading about the Princesses.. the other day, I was sooo excited to go into Bebeland when I saw all these familiar "favourites"of mine that I literally shouted "WWOOOWWW!!" babah and mama said I was sakai and they pretended they didn't know me... !

10. Because Auntie Ida and Auntie Nor calls my nenek in Jln Kebangsaan "ibu" ( as opposed to my nenek girl in Lambak), I've started calling her nenek ibu-but mama said nenek ibu doesn't like it!

Another visit to the movies!

After a verrryyy long time, babah and mama finally brought us to watch a movie at the cinema again and it was also at the Mall cinema so we got to go there after also not having gone in a reaalllyy long time!

The movie was really awesome of course because I got to see all my favourite jungle animals and I loved how they went to my favourite place in the whole world, Africa!! Can't wait to go there myself one day!

At first I was really excited to go to the cinema because the idea of a BIG GIANT TV is obviously soo enticing since I love the smal version so much already.. but once I got there, I got a bit nervous at how loud it all was. Luckily mama knew to calm me down with some snacks we sneaked in! But there were still some parts in the movie that I laughed out loud at- especially seeing Gloria the Hippos, she's soo cute!

Happy Birthday Adik!

Today was my best friend in the whole wide world, Adik's birthday and after out weekly art therapy session, we had a mini celebration with a birthday cake, party hats, party horns, balloons, whistles and party poppers! We had so much fun! Look at how happy Adik was:

And here's a shot of the yummmmmyyy rainbow ice cream cake that Adik's mum got from Dairy Queen.. I was told it's really yummy cos you know me-- I don't eat cake! hehe! But mama had like two pieces so I'm sure it was really good!!

Broken Koosch Balls!

My sibs and I really love our koosch balls and mama have bought us 5 altogether from her trips this year but unfortunately we have broken/bubuskan every single one of them.

Well, I don't really like to see things go to waste so guess what I've turned these damaged koosch balls into? Socks slash bedroom sandals! Haha! And I love the "bulu' feel of it on my feet!

Hehe do u think it's weird? Don't knock it til u try it!

Addin's Mini B'day Party!

We celedrated baby Addin's first birthday yesterday with our traditional Elmo cake (apparently abg Addin had it for his 2nd B'day and if you recall, I had it for my 2nd B'day last July too! What can I say, all of us really love Elmo!!). Addin looked a bit "bengang" when everyone was singing Happy Birthday to him hehe and of course abang kept blowing the candle- well it's not like Addin knew how to blow pulang!

Nenek laki, nenek bini, nenek girl, auntie wen wen, uda, usu, kaka zaty, abg azeem, abg muiz and abg qawee came over to ramaikan the mini party and nenek girl and gang bought Addin a ring sorter which he later learnt to do before he slept!

We all enjoyed the yummy choc sponge cake (except Abang as usual-he nearly gagged when he got some red icing put on his lips by Mama! He's such a weirdo!) and all of us ended up looking like we had red lipstick on! Haha!

Happy Birthday Addin!!

Happy First Birthday to Me!!! I am actually ONE year old-- wow how fast does time fly and how big have I grown! (Actually my birthday was yesterday (14-11) but I was too busy to blog about it then! Mama has been off from work so I've been busy being stuck on her! Hehe!)

And at this ripe old age of ONE, I am proud to say that I am already walking away! Actually I started taking small steps and even up to eight steps! But that was when Mama was away in Washington so I kind waited for her to come back until I started to really walk properly. And as soon as she came back last Monday, that's exactly what I did! And even though I look a bit wobbly I still hardly fall over and I'm loving it!

I've also started to discover the "power" that I have with crying and I think I'm learning this from Kakak! Like today, when Babah and Mama bought me a microphone toy for my b'day present, I cried and cried when Kakak took it away from me and it completely worked! You see before, if it wasn't mine, I never really fought for it. But not now when mama said that it was mine!

Some things to record about me now:

1. I really love to eat and I'm proud to say that I try to eat healthily all the time. Every morning, I would have my fruit/yoghurt smoothie along with my wholegrain cereal! I've also only eated wholemeal bread and wholegrain brown rice that I've never had any constipation problems! Alhamdulillah!

2. I love copying what my abang and kakak do, like jumping on the bed, singing (even though it's just babbles from me!), banging on things, doodling, clapping, giving hi-fives and touching my head. They are such great inspirations and now that I'm big enough to join them, they've been really nice and lets me join in their playtime too!

3. I have this really "bari kesian" sob whenever mama gives me away to another person!

4. I love to climb up things and can stand up on chairs proudly!

5. I love it when others sing Hi-Five's song "Boom boom boom listen to the music!" and will always giggle when it's sung to me!

6. I am better with newer faces now but I definitely recognise all my immediate family now including my neneks and my aunties/uncles;

7. I hate being in the car seat when I want to sleep and I cry and cry and insist until I am carried until I fall asleep;

8. I know how to point to kakak, abang, babah etc when I'm asked where they are;

9. I love playing with all sorts of toys and I love playing with my toy phone, with the ring sorter and the doodle pro; and

10. I just love to drop things around that I think people are tired of picking up after me!

11. I know how to drink using a straw!

12. I can happily sleep in my cot except when I know mama's not in the room! Once she is, then I HAVE to sleep under her ketiak! hehe

13. I'm still feeding off mama at nite! Yay!

14. I love to jalan2 in our family outings and will cry if I'm not brought along!
