Abang the Entertainer

Mama and babah likes to take us out when they do their errands even though we always just end up waiting and waiting in the car.. So whenever I get bored waiting, I can always rely on my goofy abang to keep me entertained with his antics..

Me wit the b'day boy

I went to my classmate Ben's birthday party on Thursday at the poolside of RBC and it was soo much fun! Of course I always love birthday parties simply for the balloons and the games and the cutting of the cake (am not so big on eating the cake though) so of course Ben's party had all of that and was it a blast or what! Thanks for inviting me Ben!

Oh and I have another party coming up this weekend for Clare's birthday! What a happening week it is for me huh?! I feel so "cool"..

It's been a long time since I updated which is so silly of me because there always seems to be so much to tell. But then now that I am about to post this, I can't seem to remember any of them! Duh..

Some things that do stand out about me nowadays are:

1. Though I have yet to say actual words (I know I'm keeping the suspense alive for mama and babah), I still try to engage others and communicate to others my wants through grunts and wails.. And sometimes when mama is carrying me and I'm trying so hard to get her attention, I even grab her face and turn it towards me so I can make sure she's looking STRAIGHT at me hehe
2. I am definitely more manja with mama these days.. well it's her fault for leaving me so many times! The last time was for 10 whole days! Though I did get excited to see her through the computer, I can only wish that won't happen again, well at least any time soon.. Luckily, she still let me feed off her when she got back, though the milk is not as much as the last time, oh and sorry mama that it took a bite from me for me to have discovered that!
3. I love to eat anything that is offered to me alhamdulillah but I'm not so keen on the bottled milk. Now, at most I just drink around 15oz a day but mama aint so worried because I always clean my plates at mealtimes and am always snacking in between too. (Oh and plus she still b/feeds at night anyway);
4. I am forever climbing things and standing up and moving around (while standing up-org Brunei calls it betelatai) that I hardly like to be carried now (except by mama of course);
5. I am quite "gundah" while sleeping that I have fell off the bed twice already!
6. I am always so curious to watch my abang and kakak play and they never fail to put a smile on my face with their antics, especially when they are calling me to watch!
7. I love to play ring a ring of roses with mama and my siblings;
8. I love bathing that I always cry when I'm taken out of the tub;
9. I cry everytime mama, babah, abang or kaka jalan and leave me at home but still wave bye-bye anyway; and
10. I love clapping along with kakak singing nursery rhymes!

Since Abang had an awful outburst when mama made him wear the Buzz Lightyear outfit, I thought I might as well give the headgear a try since mama found it so amusing.. and how cute do I look?!

Even Abang in the end thought it was amusing too!! Sudah atu abang ah!! Inda aci!!

Why oh why?

Somebody pllleeeaassee tell me why adults love to torture us kids by making us wear ridiculous outfits we don't like and then can just sit there and laugh at us??

I Love Munching!

Since I turned 9 months, mama et al have been pretty relaxed with what I can eat.. so far I have been fed a couple of sweet treats like biscuits, cakes, ice cream and wow how yummy are they? But the sad part is I only get a few spoonfuls and then they say no when I ask for more! Aren't they all mean to do that?...

More Sibling Love

Abang and I have become closer and closer every day now! He's been wanting to play with me more and we're spending more and more time together at home these days! I love it when he carries me which I think he loves doing too:

And now, much to mama's joy, we have started to independently eat our meals at the dinner table together too!

Our New Playroom
