My milestones to date

I am now 8 and a half months! Just to share, these are the things I have discovered about myself lately:

1) I can say mama and babah.. but not necessarily when I see mama and babah only. I just like to say those words all the time;
2) I can wave bye-bye;
3) I have 2 teeth on the bottom row now... as you can see..

4) It's harder for me to poo-poo now that I'm drinking more formula. Mama and I didn't really have a choice to finally resort to enfalac A+ since she was away from me 3 times this month. But she still breastfeed me about 4-5 times a day;

5) I love sweet tasting food! My favourite has to be apricot yoghurt;

6) I am so fascinated with everything abang does;

7) I have a strong desire to put everything I see in my mouth.. especially remote controls and mobile phones.. yummmm;

8)I need the air con for me to sleep throughout the nite; and

9) I know how to pose for the camera:

Oh I went to the clinic on Thursday and weighed 7.87kg and was 70cm long. The nurse said that my growth chart in terms of my weight dipped a bit, but I don't think ma's that worried cos I still look fine and she knows I love to eat. Heyyy.. Im just a girl who likes to watch her weight ok sista!

Other miscellaneous achievements of mine in the last month:

1) I had my first haircut;

2) I've been on a plane 8 times!;

3) I watched my first disney on ice;

4) I started swimming!

I miss school!

Hi all, as Alisha has told you, I have been with babah for more than a month now. It has been bittersweet actually. The good parts are of course I get to sleep with babah every nite, swim with him every other day

and go to the zoo at weekends.

The down side however is that mama has been like a chipsmore cookie.. now I see her, then the next minute, she's gone again. Seriously! She would come then leave either later that day or the next morning! And sometimes she would take baby sha with her too!

But the biggest down side is that I really really miss school.

Thank god for babah's old laptop for me to use to self educate me everyday! I'm basically spending the days memorising stuff elmo and dora says on the net... I know mama and babah feels guilty about it too but I can understand that they are so busy with work. So to not be left behind I try to immerse myself in my own studies too!

My first trip to the Salon

Yay!I finally had my first haircut about a month ago (actually so much has happened in the last month that me and abang had been too busy to write in this online diary of ours. But long story short, abang has been with babah in Singapore the whole time since we all left at the end of Feb whereas I have been following mama back and forth when she has to go back to Brunei in between her meetings).

So anyway, my first taste of hairstyling was on the 4th March at Toys R Us (yes, they have a special hairdresser for children! Cool huh!) at Vivo City. I don't think babah and mama were planning to cut my hair in spite of my persistent begging so you can imagine my relief when they decided to give this kiddie salon a try.

So there I was, sat on mama's lap, wearing a bright pink robe so my hair won't go onto and under my clothes and the fun thing was they had a mini tv in front for me to watch Barney on.

I was fine but as usual, abang who has had a phobia of hairdressers for quite a while now, kept screaming and crying behind me. Poor thing.. actually I wasn't sure if he was crying in fear for me or maybe he thought he was next hehe..

The lady gave a layered jagged cut at the sides and back and also sorted out my parting. Loverrly!Phew.. so much better! NOW I feel fabulous!

Singapore Sweet Singapore

Hi all, this post is not really dedicated to our babah seeing how we have spent the last week with him and also for the next week. But since this is our diary, I thought it'd be good to record the stuff we have done since the last post because you would not believe how much has happened!

17/02-20/02= Babah came back to Brunei. At first I cried when he carried me, just like how I usually am with unfamiliar faces but after a while, it wasn't so bad and babah even made me smile a few times...

20/02= I have my first passport! Now I can be an international jet setter like mama!

25/02= Mama, Abang Raiyan, Auntie Ro, Auntie Bil and me went on an airplane to go to Singapore and spend 2 weeks with babah! Well what happened was, Mama was going to be in Tokyo for about 2 weeks (with a tiny gap in the middle), so she had this brilliant idea to leave us in Singapore with Babah during the time she'll be in Tokyo! Cool huh!

Me and abang on the plane:

We had a good flight actually! Abang got free colour pencils which he was naturally ecstatic about and I got to sit on this mini cot thing in front of a whole audience of people! I felt like I was on stage or something!

Upon arrival at babah's apt, I was presented with this amazing toy babah bought for me! I love it! And the best part is ITS MINE! (unlike the hand me down walker that abang raiyan still inda ikhlas give me...)

Babah, mama, abang and I then went around Orchard Road to look for a replacement to mama's glasses which didn't survive abang's FOURTH timed damage to it... We were having so much fun being a family again until mama had to leave that nite.. It was horrible trying to go to sleep without her next to me. But I have a sneaky feeling that I have to get used to this... Abang told me that this is something that she does a lot.. Sigh...

01/03= Mama came back! Yay! Got to sleep with her again. Plus I made an effort to cry everytime she leaves the room. I aint letting go of her again so soon!

02/03- Surely enough, my cryings worked cos mama brought me with her on an airplane ride again! Just the 2 of us! (Sorry abang Raiyan! but you got Babah with you kan? Fair and square what...) Turned out we went back to Brunei and I got to see our neneks again!

Today,03/03, just bummed around wit mama and also went to the office with her skajap since no one was home to take care of me. There were so many fabuous ladies at her office! I was in awe just looking at them!

Oh I heard babah and abang raiyan had a total blast at the Singapore Zoo! Wish we were there with them! I cant believe abang was so brave to go so close to the animals! Well done abang!

Tomorrow, mama and I will fly back to Singapore again and be reunited with dahling babah and abang raiyan! Yay! Can't wait to be with them again!
